Hide AdStorm Darragh is set to bring winds to many parts of the UK with gusts set to reach in excess of 90mph (145km/h) in some areas of the country.
In Nottinghamshire, a yellow warning for wind has been issued with speeds forecast to hit 57mph (92km/h) on Saturday morning.
Both Wollaton Park and Newstead Abbey will be closed tomorrow (Saturday), with a possible delayed reopening on Sunday.
The council said: "Due to a yellow wind warning from the Met Office re Storm Darragh and high winds expected, both Wollaton Hall and Deer Park and Newstead Abbey are closed on Saturday 7th December, with an anticipated delayed opening on Sunday 8th December.”

Hide AdA Christmas Carol: The Drone Light Show, had originally been scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 7, at Trent Bridge.
Organiser Yuup announced on Friday, December 6, that it had made the "difficult decision" to move the show to Monday, December 9.
All ticket holders have been automatically transferred to the rescheduled show as per the booking terms and conditions.
In Newark, the Christmas Market has been called off for the weekend. Mansfield Festive Fun Day at the Buttercross has also been cancelled.
Light Post Farm - the Christmas light trail at White Post Farm has been cancelled on Saturday.
