Susan Calman's Grand Day Out: Comedian explores Nottinghamshire in Channel 5 documentary


A documentary about Nottinghamshire will air on Channel 5 tonight (Thursday, July 11).
Susan Calman’s Grand Day Out, now in its sixth series, will feature locations including Sherwood Forest, Ruddington, and Nottingham city centre when it hits screens at 9pm.

Hide AdThe show, which was first broadcast in 2021, involves the comedian travelling Britain in her trusty vintage campervan.
During each episode, Calman meets local people, visits places of interest and tries her hand at a range of activities.
In the trailer, she says: “This time I’m immersing myself in Robin Hood country, gorgeous Nottinghamshire.
“Hunting legends, learning new skills and discovering magic in all sorts of astonishing places.”
Locations already featured in this series include Cornwall, Wales and the Cotswolds.
