Red Arrows flypast: Exact route confirmed for Red Arrows first Nottinghamshire flypast in August


The Red Arrows are to fly over Nottinghamshire next week, marking the first chance for aviation enthusiasts in the county to see the iconic jets in August.
On Thursday, August 8, the display team will transit from their base at RAF Waddington to north Wales for a display at the RAF Valley Families’ Day.

Hide AdThe team’s route from Lincolnshire to Wales will take them right over Nottinghamshire, presenting fans with a rare chance to see the famous red aircraft.
According to Military Airshows, the jets will depart RAF Waddington at 11am, before heading immediately west towards Nottinghamshire.
Two minutes later, the Hawk T1A aircraft will be visible over the village of North Scarle in Lincolnshire, before crossing the border into Nottinghamshire.
Residents in locations including Sutton on Trent, Kirby-in-Ashfield and Ravenshead are likely to get the best view of the Arrows as they make their way to Wales.
The team are due to arrive at RAF Valley at 11.26am, with the display taking place later that afternoon.
