RAF Cosford Air Show: Red Arrows to fly over Nottinghamshire this weekend - map shows where and when


The Red Arrows are set to fly over Nottinghamshire this weekend as they return back to their base following an air show.
The iconic jets will soar over the north of the county on Sunday (June 9) as they return to RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire after performing at the RAF Cosford Air Show.

Hide AdAt around 3.56pm the Red Arrows will complete their performance and return to their temporary base at RAF Shawbury in Shropshire.
Then, at around 6.30pm, the Arrows will begin the journey back to RAF Waddington from Shropshire.
Their route will take them over northern parts of Nottinghamshire, including Sutton-in-Ashfield and Mansfield.
According to Military Airshows, the famous jets will be visible over the county between 6.34pm and 6.41pm.
The aircraft are due to land at RAF Waddington at 6.45pm.

Hide AdLast Friday (May 31), the Arrows were visible over eastern parts of Nottinghamshire as they transited to the Midlands Air Festival.
Formed in 1965, the Red Arrows have been a mainstay at UK air festivals for decades and will once again perform at dozens of displays this summer.
