Readers agree on one change needed as EMA is named among UK’s top 10 airports
Nottingham World readers think that East Midlands Airport (EMA) should scrap pick-up and drop-off charges in order to improve its ranking among the UK’s best and worst airports.
In a Which? survey released earlier this week, EMA was named as the UK’s 10th-best airport.

Respondents were invited to rate the airports across 11 categories, including seating, staff, toilets and queues at check in, bag drop, passport control and security.
EMA achieved a customer satisfaction score of 67%, above the likes of Gatwick and Heathrow.
Liverpool John Lennon Airport topped the rankings with an impressive 81% customer satisfaction score.

The airport currently charges £5 for a 15-minute ‘Rapid Drop Off’ parking space, with £1 charged for each additional minute.
Nottingham World reader Keggs said: “Pick-up and drop-off is a joke. Two lanes and two pay machines, that's it for all flights in and out of East Midlands Airport.
“It's chaos at the best of times, even at 6 am. Other than that it’s a good airport.”
Phil, meanwhile, added: “Pick-up and drop-off charges should be scrapped.”
