The interior of the shop appeared darkened, with all exterior seating and signage moved inside.
The Nottingham shop has now been removed from the company’s website.

News of the cafe’s closure comes just two weeks after Ted Baker, located in nearby Bridlesmith Gate, closed after the brand fell into liquidation.
After opening its first store in London in 1926, Patisserie Valerie went on to become one of the UK’s most popular café chains.
However, the company went into administration in 2019, leading to the closure of 70 stores and the loss of 900 jobs.
It’s not yet known what the former Nottingham café will become following its closure.
