Martin's Arms: Popular Nottinghamshire country pub reveals reason for temporary closure
It was previously named Nottinghamshire Dining Pub Of The Year for nine years running
A popular Nottinghamshire country pub has confirmed that it is currently closed due to refurbishment works.

The Martin’s Arms, in Colston Bassett, has shut its doors while renovation work to its kitchens and toilets is carried out.
A notice currently displayed on the pub’s website says: “Information about our expected opening date will appear here when we know the extent of the works.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this period and look forward to welcoming you to a new and improved Martin’s Arms.”
With its ivy-clad exterior and Jacobean fireplace, the Martin’s Arms is regarded as one of Nottinghamshire’s top pubs.
A former farmhouse, the establishment was named Nottinghamshire Dining Pub Of The Year for nine years running.
The Grade II listed pub has an average Google rating of 4.5/5 from 301 reviews.
