The tour will allow you to see landmarks including Wollaton Hall and Nottingham Castle from above

Those who have lived in Nottingham their whole life will be used to seeing the city’s most famous sights on a daily basis.

As impressive as Wollaton Hall and Nottingham Castle are, their splendour wears off somewhat if you walk or drive past them on a daily basis.

But it’s fair to say that even the truest of Nottingham natives would struggle to appreciate the beauty of the city’s landmarks from above.

If you’ve ever wanted the chance to have a completely different perspective of Nottingham, then you’re in luck.

Central Helicopters, a helicopter training and experience company based at Nottingham Heliport, run a limited number of city tours each year.

After boarding the helicopter, passengers will be given a 15-minute flight over many of the city’s famous landmarks.

Those on board will be given unique views of the City Ground, Nottingham Castle and Wollaton Hall.

Tckets, priced at £125 per person, are available for purchase, with future tour dates set to be announced in due course.

Central Helicopters also offers private tours for two or more passengers, perfect if you’re celebrating something special.

Flights take place on selected weekend dates between March and October.
