We all know that Nottingham has produced some pretty famous people over the years, but wouldn’t it be good if there was some way to honour them?
It’s fair to say that the best place on earth for this kind of thing is the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles.
Established in 1960, the Walk of Fame honours 2,788 stars of stage and screen, from Elvis Presley to Robin Williams.
While we’re not suggesting that Nottingham has produced nearly 3,000 celebrities, we certainly think that the city’s famous faces should be recognised in one way or another.
With this in mind, we asked Nottingham World readers to suggest who would be on a ‘Nottingham Walk of Fame’, if one was to be created in the future.
Ranging from actors to sportspeople, we received all kinds of nominations.
Here are the top 15 most popular suggestions.
