A new Starbucks café is to open inside Nottingham’s Victoria Centre later this year.

Earlier this week the shopping centre teased shoppers with a Facebook post showing signage for the new café.

It will be located inside the Victoria Centre’s Clocktower dining area on the upper mall, alongside restaurants including McDonald’s and Chopstix.

A spokesperson for the Victoria Centre told Nottingham World: “We can confirm that Starbucks is joining the line-up of exciting food and beverage on offer here at Victoria Centre.

“We’re not able to share any more details at this time, but we’ll look forward to updating shoppers in the near future.”

News of the café comes just two weeks after the centre’s new H&M opened its doors after relocating from Lister Gate.

There are currently four other Starbucks stores in Nottingham city centre, the nearest being Upper Parliament Street.

Starbucks has more than 1,100 outlets across the UK, having first launched in the country in 1998.
