Mr Wahl added: “By continuing to invest in the high street, our ambition is that our physical presence will inspire and empower photographers and videographers of all levels.”

It is the latest company to open on Carrington Street, which has seen a resurgence of independent businesses since the demolition of the Broadmarsh shopping centre and includes the Unity Square tower, which is home to HMRC.

The new shop will be open seven days a week, between 9am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday (except Wednesdays, which open at 10am) and between 10am and 4pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
