Green Hustle Festival: Glorious sustainability festival to take over Nottingham's Old Market Square


A free festival will take over Old Market Square next month, showcasing the best of sustainability.
The Green Hustle Festival, which returns to Nottingham city centre on Saturday, June 1, will feature live music, street entertainment and a pop-up garden.

Hide AdThe festival aims to make the city “greener, healthier and more connected” by promoting sustainability and making visitors aware of their environmental impact.
Green Hustle will bring an inspiring programme right into the heart of the city featuring collaborations with local artists, organisations and community groups, uniting behind the theme ‘Common Ground’.
Experts will be on-hand to provide visitors with tips on topics including how to live a ‘zero-waste life’ and where to get involved in ethical shopping.
Those purchasing a tasty meal from Himmah’s Shalom Salaam Kitchen are invited to pay what they can afford, making hot food accessible for all.

Hide AdGreen Hustle is also supporting Nottingham City Council's ambition to be carbon neutral by 2028, and the team from CN28 will be present at the festival to share their progress.
Last year’s festival saw the distribution of 4,000 seed bombs and 750 free meals, with more than 100 local businesses involved.
