Download Festival is set for plenty of sunshine and warm weather this week as tens of thousands of revellers descend on the East Midlands.

Hide AdThe first few days will bring with them some cloud, but by the weekend this will have shifted and should remain largely dry throughout the entire festival.
Temperatures are expected to hit the mid-20s with high humidity and UV levels, as festival-goers are advised to drink plenty of water and apply suncream.
In the past, Download Festival has been known to be struck by heavy showers and thunderstorms, however, little rain is forecast this year, with a small possibility on Saturday evening.

Overcast changing to sunny intervals in the afternoon.
A maximum temperature of 17°C with sunny intervals clearing by early evening.
Winds speeds are predicted to remain moderate at 13mph and gusts of 19mph, with temperatures feeling more like 13°C at times, the Met Office has said.

Thursday:
Overcast changing to sunny by lunchtime.
A maximum temperature of 17°C with clear skies and sunshine forcast throughout the afternoon between 1pm and 9pm.
Wind speeds are predicted to average 13mph with gusts reaching 25mph and temperatures feeling more like 14°C.

Friday:
Cloudy changing to sunny by late morning.
A maximum temperature of 19°C with clear skies and sunshine forcast between 10am and 7pm.
Wind speeds are predicted to average 16mph with gusts reaching 29mph and so it will feel more blustery than Thursday at times, with temperatures feeling more like 15°C.

Saturday:
Cloudy changing to light showers by early evening.
A maximum temperature of 25°C with a cloudy and overcast afternoon forecast, with possible outbreaks of sunshine in the early evening and a 30 per cent change of showers.
Wind speeds are predicted to average 10mph with gusts reaching 21mph and so temperatures will feel more like 23°C.
