West Bridgford: Pensioner dies after bus crash in Nottinghamshire

A pensioner has died after a bus crash in Nottinghamshire.

Emergency services were called to the A60 Loughborough Road in West Bridgford at around 5.30pm on Monday, October 16.

A 74-year-old man was taken from the scene by ambulance but later died in hospital.

Nottinghamshire Police said the man’s family are being supported by officers and an investigation into what happened is underway.

Det Con Liah Lane said: “This was a tragic incident that has resulted in a man’s untimely death.

“A file will now be prepared for the Coroner. Our thoughts are with the victim’s family at this very difficult time.”
