Bramcote Farm Shop owners speak out after making tough decision to close doors for good

A popular Nottinghamshire farm shop is to close after nearly 50 years of trading.
Bramcote Farmshop, near the A52 Brian Clough Way, has sold a wide range of fresh local produce since the late 1970s, but its owners have confirmed that the shop will close at the end of the month.

Hide AdIts owners Anne and Andrew Woodward have confirmed their decision to close the business for good on March 30.
In a message to customers, they confirmed the reasoning behind the closure.
They said: “As a lot of you know Andrew hasn't been in the best of health for some time. So we have taken the decision to close Bramcote Farmshop on the 30th of March.
“We would like to say a massive thank you to all our customers for supporting us over the last 46 years, especially through the pandemic."

Hide AdThe post, which was shared on Monday, March 18, has attracted hundreds of comments from well-wishing customers.
Anne Mackey said: “Thank you for supporting the community in so many ways while providing great fresh produce.
“I sincerely hope that the future is a good one for you and your family.”
Hayley Curwood added: “Sorry to hear this. Thank you both for the opportunity to work for you throughout my teenage years.
“Love to you both and the family.”
