Replacing the former Good Honest Bakery, which closed in January, plans for the new Bagel Project shop were confirmed earlier this month.

The Bagel Project, which was launched by brothers Thomas and Oliver Bohn alongside Tom Benjamin, has gone from strength to strength over the past 12 months.

As well as a range of loaded bagel options, the shop also offers light snacks and drinks.

The Hockley bakery already has an average Google rating of 4.5/5, with impressed customers quick to share positive reviews.

A recent visitor wrote: “This was my first time visiting, and I will definitely be coming back. I myself had the pastrami bagel, which tasted amazing, but they have a great selection of other fillings with the added choice of the type of bagel you would like.

“The coffee served is also very nice, and to top it off, all the prices are very reasonable.”
