Tributes have poured in for the 29-year-old Panthers player, from teammates and shell-shocked fans.

The public is invited to a memorial will in Bolero Square on Saturday evening (November 4) to remember Adam. The public will be able to lay flowers and pay tribute to the athlete from 5:30pm.

The arena bowl will be open and people will be allowed onto the ice, which will be carpeted to sign a book of condolences.

In addition to the service, a commemorative ice hockey puck has been created by Ice Locker at Motorpoint Arena in memory of the Nottingham player. Bearing Adam's player number 47, along with his name and Panthers logo, all profits from the puck will go to local charities in his hometown of Hibbing, Minnesota.

A ‘Love for Hibbing and Hockey Memorial Fund' has been created by the Johnson family in Adam's memory, to support local charitable activities in the area. The GoFundMe set up by the Panthers team is also going towards the same fund, in line with the wishes of the Johnson family.

Motorpoint Arena Commercial Director Phil Jones said: "As the home of Nottingham Panthers, we wanted to do something in memory of Adam. We know he was a much-loved teammate as well as an outstanding hockey player. We hope this is a way to allow everyone to remember the Nottingham Panthers number 47 and help raise funds for charities in his hometown at the same time."
