Center Parcs Sherwood transformed into magical winter wonderland with Santa's workshop and Christmas shop
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Center Parcs in Sherwood Forest. Today (October 31) the team has unveiled its new-look Winter Wonderland.
The magical new attraction comes as part of a £1.6 million transformation of Santa's Woodland Village which opens to guests next Monday (6th November).

All six Center Parcs villages have undergone an upgrade just in time for the festive season. This includes modernised signs and branding for the winter wonderland as well as updating facilities.
Children who are visiting the parc with their families will be able to meet Father Christmas at Santa's new Woodland Workshop. And what's Christmas without a spot of shopping? The Sherwood Christmas shop looks like a scene from Elf, giving guests the opportunity to purchase gifts and toys.
Indulging in delicious food is part of the Christmas celebrations at Centre Parcs - guests can listen to festive stories in the tipi and warm up with a season treat from the new snack menu including draft beer or a Christmas tree waffle topped with chocolate sauce and a giant toasted marshmallow.

Sue Goddard, Director of Service Development, said: “We’re always looking to innovate and evolve our villages, where possible, and we felt it was the right time to transform Santa’s Woodland Village – starting with Sherwood Forest. This also gave us a good opportunity to bring the new branding to life with the designs of our Woodland Workshop and Christmas shop.
“The whole Christmas build up is such an exciting time for families and we want to help them make special memories together at Center Parcs. We have invested in enhancing guests’ experiences for the whole family, during the festive season, introducing a few new things, for example our popular Breakfast with Santa has been reimagined to return as Brunch with Santa in our Huck’s restaurant with a new menu.
“We look forward to welcoming thousands of guests to Sherwood this year, to experience all that Winter Wonderland has to offer. We believe there is no better place to spend the build-up to Christmas than Center Parcs.”
