Nottingham’s hidden gem, The Hockley Arts Club, relocates its iconic entrance

The Hockley Arts Club, Nottingham's renowned hidden cocktail bar, has taken its signature mystery to the next level by relocating its entrance to a new discreet spot.

Since opening in 2015, the bar has been a secret haven in a grade-II listed former lace showroom, offering a blend of award-winning cocktails, enchanting interiors, and a unique speakeasy charm.

From 15 November, visitors will find the new entrance on Warser Gate, illuminated by a neon sign.

Entry will require ringing a secret buzzer, adding to the bar’s air of exclusivity.

The move coincides with new management and a renewed commitment to elevating service standards and enhancing the luxurious experience that has made The Hockley Arts Club a local favourite.

While the entrance has moved, the interiors remain untouched. Patrons can still enjoy the venue's distinct spaces:

  • The Blue Rooms on the middle floor, featuring vintage furniture, dark wood accents, and retro lighting.
  • The Electric Garden on the top floor, adorned with Chinese lanterns and a ceiling draped in cherry blossom.

The Hockley Arts Club is part of the award-winning Fletchergate Industries group, known for creating distinctive and memorable venues. Their portfolio includes Penny Lane, Das Kino, Walrus, Magic Garden, Beeston Social Club, and the soon-to-open Tahula’s Tiki Shack, debuting at the end of November.
