A glitzy New York-inspired cocktail bar in Nottingham city centre will be opening its doors to the public this Saturday (November 9).

Manhatta, in Queen Street, promises to “bring a taste of New York City nightlife to Nottingham”  and even has a mirrored disco ball reminiscent of the iconic Times Square ball drop.

The new bar has a DJ booth which overlooks the spacious dancefloor, setting the stage for everyday escapism, glam get-togethers and unforgettable celebrations.

It promises £7 cocktails from Monday to Thursday and a cocktail menu including the Diamonds are Forever sharer – a mix of Bacardí Carta Blanca, watermelon, kiwi, cranberry, apple, and lime, served in a giant sparkling diamond.

Manahatta, which has a capacity of 450 people, is operated by the same group which operates Nottingham’s BOX venue
