WOWO: New Chinese restaurant to open in Nottingham city centre this week - and the menu looks amazing

A new Chinese restaurant in Nottingham city centre is opening later this week and customers can already browse its menu. 

On Friday, April 5, the new WOWO restaurant will open at 26 King Street, replacing a delicatessen that closed in 2022. 

On its website, WOWO describes itself as a “contemporary Chinese takeaway that brings the soulful essence of Hong Kong's street food classics to the heart of the UK”. 

The restaurant will also provide a delivery and collection service.

Ahead of its opening on Friday, the restaurant has already released its full menu so customers can already start choosing their order. 

From classic Chinese dishes such as salt and pepper chicken and king prawn fried rice to a range of vegetarian options including tenderstem broccoli with oyster sauce, the menu boasts dozens of options.
