Nottingham is a city that lives and breathes stories.

From the tales of Robin Hood running amok around the city to the many authors who have trodden the paths, we walk today.

Our city is proud of its whimsical past that has been immortalised in the pages of books and on the screen.

Unsurprisingly, a number of the pubs in and around our city reflect its whimsical history, with nods to a time gone by (and a land far, far away).

We have rounded up some of our favourite mythical pub names in Nottingham - just because we can.

Are you sitting comfortably? Let us begin.

Once upon a time in a land (not so far away), there stood nine pubs each with a magical name...

It offers a great selection of craft beers and malt whiskies, and frequently hosts live music. It also has a special room for Scalextric car racing nights.
