Instagram chef makes 'official' sandwich of Nottingham - but locals have one complaint
A social media chef has made it his mission to make the 'official' sandwiches of UK towns and cities. The social star, who goes by the name Big Nibbles, has gained quite the following with his comedic commentary and epic sandwich creations.
A while ago, the innovative chef, created the "official sandwich of Nottingham" - and to be honest, we think it's a pretty good choice. Simple, salty, and a British classic, we think it's a good fit for our city. And, it even makes use of one of our finest exports.

Ok, ok, we know you might be a bit disappointed when Peterborough got a sandwich laden with beef and roast potatoes, and nearby Derby's includes a pretty decadent-looking homemade pickle - but we're proud to be represented by the humble bacon sandwich.
Big Nibbles made a pretty spectacular-looking sarnie. Served on thick slices of tiger bread, with several rashers of smoky bacon (no rationing here), and a good glug of HP sauce, this sandwich can be enjoyed at all times of the year and at any time of day, much like a trip to Nottingham.

We're not going to delve too deep into Big Nibbles' salty remarks about the city because we know (hope) it's all in jest. But instead say, thanks for the shout-out and this epic creation. We're glad it's something easy to replicate at home. We will be making the appropriate bread swap, however.
