This week marks the start of National World’s Food and Drink month, where the company’s 139 titles, including Nottingham World, shine a light on the very best of food and drink in their respective areas.
During September Nottingham World and dozens of other sites will be promoting the individual tastes and food heroes of their cities, engaging with readers to find out their favourite places to eat and drink.
We thought we’d kick off the month by settling one of the most divisive subjects surrounding food and drink in any town or city up and down the country - the best place for a good old fashioned fry-up.
Fry-ups may not be as healthy as avocado on toast or a bowl of granola, but they’ve been enjoyed by hungry Brits for centuries.
