Tappin' In is back for 2025

Eight groups of people – yet to be recruited - will take part in a 12-week programme of dance during summer 2025, exploring tap and body percussion. Each group will get the opportunity to perform in their local area and will feature in a dance film to be premiered in Nottingham in September 2025.
Stephanie Ridings, Founder and Artistic Director said: “Inspired by our working-class backgrounds, Tappin' In was formed to create accessible projects for those who may feel excluded from the arts. We believe in breaking down barriers using joyful, inclusive art forms – like tap dancing and body percussion so that everyone feels confident to get involved. We can’t wait to meet new participants and share their stories in 2025.”
