A fast-growing student lettings agency based in Loughborough is helping young professionals kickstart their careers with a brand-new apprenticeship scheme.

loc8me recently launched its 18-month programme in a bid to support young people and cultivate a selection of skilled and knowledgeable individuals equipped to thrive in the student lettings sector.

The initiative, which is open to anyone aged 16-18, will offer hands-on experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to engage in paid work.

“We believe that education comes in many forms, not just a classroom. Here, we’re offering hands-on experience, mentorship, and a real path to success.”

He added: “Now more than ever, young people are seeking opportunities, guidance, and goals to pursue. With this programme, we’re investing in their future - and in the future of the lettings sector.”

Throughout the course, students will have the chance to study the theoretical and practical elements of the lettings industry, including asset management, lettings, marketing, business development, accounts, and compliance.

The introduction of the scheme marks a major step forward in the evolution of the agency, which recently opened a new office in Bristol to cater for the growing demand for student accommodation in the region.

loc8me now operates in 13 major university cities across the UK, including Loughborough, Durham, Nottingham, Manchester, Leeds, Cardiff, Newcastle, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leicester, Hull, Bath, and Bristol.

It also manages over 2,500 properties and provides accommodation for more than 6,700 students and more than 500 landlords nationwide, ensuring a diverse and high-quality selection of student housing.
